Kerry Buys New Ads In Arkansas

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
A new television ad by Senator John Kerry that will run in Arkansas focuses his message on making the US stronger at home and more respected in the world. The 30-second commercial is the first in a new round of advertising meant to explain the presumed Democratic nominee`s proposals on the economy, health care and national security. The ad doesn`t mention any specific state, but Kerry senior media strategist Tad Devine says the ad would help Kerry in Arkansas. Kerry campaign manager Mary Beth Cahill says the Massachusetts senator plans to visit Arkansas again, to try to match the focus of the Bush-Cheney campaign in Arkansas. Arkansas is considered a key state in Kerry`s challenge of President Bush`s race for re-election.
