Flooded Campsites Mean Less Campers For Memorial Day

About ten percent of the campsites at Greers Ferry Lake in central Arkansas are flooded. The flooding prompted the Army Corps of Engineers to cancel some vacationers` reservations for Memorial Day weekend next weekend. The federal agency says there are plenty of recreational facilities that will be open but the Corps warns that high water on Greers Ferry Lake will continue to affect boating and other activities there.
