A new study that the University of Arkansas at Little Rock helped organize found that more people are doing online research before they buy a home. The study found that the extra work by the consumers sometimes costs the real estate professionals money in commissions. While less than one percent of five (m) million homes bought and sold every year are closed online, the study found more than 70 percent of all home buyers start their search on the Internet. Results showed that the traditional real estate industry sees online brokers as a threat.
