A two-member team from Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland has arrived at the Pine Bluff Arsenal to help figure out why an arsenal worker broke out in a rash. Arsenal spokeswoman Barbara Slifer said a certified industrial hygienist and a risk communications specialist arrived at the Arsenal today. Slifer said the hygienist worked with the arsenal`s industrial hygienist and the specialist worked with her on developing an information plan. She said the team may stay until Thursday, but it probably won`t be until next week before officials have a better idea of what happened. She said that, since the incident May 12th, no one has been working in the area where the employee developed the rash. Slifer said officials are taking samples from the surface of materials in the area and from the air.
