One Arkansas family is spending this Mother`s Day weekend grieving the loss of a soldier. Staff Sergeant Hesley Box, Junior of Chidester is remembered as a great friend, father, son and brother. He was killed several days ago while serving witht eh 39th Infantry Brigade in Iraq. A wreath bearing the colors of red, white and blue hangs on the the door of Box`s apartment. Just a few days ago, the reality of war knocked on that door. " Ilost all control of my body, I just went limp...because this was not supposed to happen," said his sister-in-law, Pamela Turner. The family nicknamed him, Tank. He had served the Arkansas National Guard for seven years. Turner says Box kept in touch as much as he could, always promising his wife, Alexia, that he would be home to her and their sons. "For his sons, that will never get to know their dad, that is the hardest part," said Turner. But because Box won`t be coming home to make them laugh or play with is sons, T`Darion and Zackeus, Turner says this family will never be the same. "This is just not something that`s going to go away, tomorrow or the next day, this is gonna effect us for the rest of our lives," Turner said. The Box family says they`re still in the process of making funeral arrangements. His brother, Tarcus, is also serving with the Army in Iraq. He`s on his way home to be with his family.
