City Council To Pay For Ice Storm Cleanup

Pine Bluffs City Council voted Monday to pay more than $800,000 for clean up relating to the 2000 ice storm. A Pennsylvania insurance filed a lawsuit against the city to make it pay for the cleanup after a dispute over what exactly was done. A federal court ruled in favor of the insurance company. City leaders plan to dip into revolving loan and capital project funds to pay the cost.
