Clinton Library Taking Shape

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The Clinton Presidential Library is taking shape. Workers are installing the vault that will hold classified documents, and Clinton`s papers will be moved -- starting in about two months. The security vault will be in the structure`s basement. The chamber will receive the papers from a temporary storage site that was set up near downtown Little Rock. The library itself is to open in November with a celebration at the campus east of downtown. Clinton foundation director Skip Rutherford says the adjoining refurbished Choctaw Railroad building that will house the Clinton School of Public Service should be finished in August. That`s when construction of the main library building is to be complete, too. Exhibit installation is to begin by September first.
