A jury in federal court in Little Rock decided today that Victoria`s Secret should not have to pay for a woman`s injuries when her nightgown caught fire. The jury returned a verdict after a full day of deliberations. They said Victoria`s Secret was not liable for Linda Rossby`s accident in May 1998. Rossby alleged that the nightgown caught fire while she was taking a pizza out of the oven and claimed the lingerie company should have put a warning label on the nightgown. Victoria`s Secret spokesman Anthony Hebron in Columbus, Ohio, said the company was pleased with the decision and believed in the safety of the product.
