Woman Bush Teased, Not Insulted

The white-haired lady whom President Bush
teased about going to the same hairdresser as his mom says she took
no offense and was happy he felt comfortable joking with her.
Bush singled out Sammie Briery yesterday during a visit to El
Dorado. Briery says she took it as a complement to be compared to
someone`s mother.
Bush made the comment that Briery must get her hair dyed by the
same person who does his mother`s hair. Briery replied that she is
a natural blond.
In fact, Briery says, she is not blond but uses that as a joking
pat response whenever anyone comments on the color of her hair.
