Updated: January 7, 2009
State police are left looking for one fugitive and the husband of a woman they found with a second fugitive yesterday in far south Newton County. Troopers are still looking for William J Frazier after he and Mark Holsombach were involved in last week`s Ozark Mountain standoff near Alread where a state trooper was wounded by gun fire. He was sighted in the Ben Hur area yesterday and police say he is armed. State police spokesman Bill Sadler says Holsombach and Ann Throneberry were captured Friday afternoon in southern Newton County. Police were taking them to the Newton County jail in Jasper. They are still looking for Throneberry`s husband, Ted Throneberry. Holsombach was wanted on a charge of attempted capital murder in the shooting of a state police trooper. Police also wanted to question him in the disappearance weeks ago of Throneberry and her husband, Ted Throneberry. The couple lived near Alread. Authorities began a weeklong search for Holsombach and William J. Frazier in the Ozark Mountains in Van Buren County after they went to the two men`s cabin near Alread on March 22nd to serve three warrants. They also wanted to ask the men about their neighbors, the Throneberrys. Instead, shots were fired and state police Corporal Charlie Edmonson was wounded.
