Arkansas raised its football ticket prices Thursday for the first time since 1999.
Athletic Director Frank Broyles announced that the season ticket
book has gone from 196 dollars to 235 dollars and regular seating to all SEC home games will now cost 35 dollars apiece -- instead of 28 dollars.
The game against archrival Texas will also go from 28 to 35 dollars this coming season. Non-conference games against New Mexico State and Louisiana-Monroe will go up Two dollars, to 30 dollars apiece.
Premium seating prices remain more than 100 dollars per ticket.
Broyles said the price hike came after reviewing Arkansas` revenue figures in relation to other S-E-C schools. Arkansas is ninth in the conference in football revenue and ninth in donations to its athletic foundation.
