Little Rock-based Acxiom Corporation
announced today it has completed the process to acquire parts of a
business based in Europe.
As of tomorrow, Acxiom will own the Consodata companies based in
England, France and Spain. Acxiom is buying the firms for
$36.4 million from Seat PG based in Turin,
Italy.
Acxiom also plans to close a deal next month on a German
operation formerly known as pan-adress.
Acxiom chief executive Charles D Morgan says the acquisition
will put the data management company in a better position to offer
its data and services in Europe.
Acxiom shares were up seven cents, or .35%,
at $19.91 in early afternoon trading on the
Nasdaq.
