Update : Trooper Shot In Standoff WIll Be Alright

Arkansas State Police are involved in a standoff in Van Buren County. A state police corporal was shot in a fierce gun battle this morning. Corporal Charlie Edmondson has been flown to Little Rock hospital and is in good condition. This is in connection with the dissapearnce of a Van Buren County couple. Ted Throneberry and his wife Ann have been missing for more than 2 weeks now. The couple lived on a remote road in Alread. Van Buren County deputies have serached their poroprety througohly and questioned their neihgbors and that led them to two men : 49 year old Mark Hoslenback and 28 year old William Fraisier. Law enforcement began surveillance on their residence last night. When they went in to execute a search warrant this morning, the suspects opened fire. Several shots were fired. State police, FBI and ATF agents have moved in and surrounded the residence. an armored vehicle has just rolled in to get closer. Watch KARK 4 News at 5 and 6 for more information.
