Campus police at Arkansas State University are investigating the posting of an anti-gay flier at a residence hall and a student`s complaint that he was attacked in his dorm room by two men. University officials DON`T know if the two incidents are related. Twenty-seven-year-old Chris Suttles -- a resident of Arkansas Hall -- told the university police the men hit and kicked him, held a knife to his face and called him "a fag." He told police he didn`t know the men who attacked him about 1 a.m. March First. According to the police report, Suttles had several scratches on his face, but said he didn`t need medical attention. Police have questioned several people at the five-story dormitory.
