Lonoke County Sheriffs deputies are searching for stolen property they say was disgarded during a foot chase with a suspected thief. Deputies arrested 22-year old Derrick Huey of Sherwood in connection with several weekend car break-ins. Huey has been charged with three counts of breaking and entering, three counts of theft of property and one count of fleeing. Huey allegedly disposed of the stolen items during a foot chase with deputies and police Sunday morning. Deputies are currently searching a wooded area in Silvania for the goods. Huey is being held in the Lonoke County jail on $5,000 bond.
