Bill Clinton : No Future Plans For Public Office

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Bill Clinton says he`s content being a private citizen and won`t run for mayor of New York. Clinton says he`d love to have the job but will let others take their own chances with the voters. Also, he noted today at a Manhattan speaking engagement that having his wife -- Hillary Rodham Clinton -- in the Senate is enough members of the family in public office. The former president says he`s still working on his memoirs but a Clinton representative says the book could come out this year. Clinton says writing about his life is a challenge. He said "It was hard enough living my life the first time."
