A federal jury has quit deliberating for the day in the federal corruption trial of former Batesville Prosecutor T- J- Hively and two others. Jurors are scheduled to return to court tomorrow for their fourth full day of deliberations in the case. Hively faces 16 counts from a hung jury in his first federal trial. His former law partner Wesley "Butch" Ketz and bail bondsman Gary Edwards are charged for the first time. All three are accused of turning the prosecutors office into a criminal enterprise. The jury is down to eleven members after one was excused for medical reasons Friday. The jury had an alternate member in case one of the twelve regular members had to be dismissed during trial, but a juror can NOT be replaced once deliberations begin. Posted by Mike Hellgren
