Weather Related Traffic Accident Killed Arkansan

Heavy rain is being blamed for a traffic accident in Pawnee County that killed an Arkansas man. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Richard Baxter of Fayetteville died in the crash just before five yesterday afternoon. Troopers say Baxter was eastbound on the Cimarron Turnpike when his care apparently hydroplaned, crossed the median and was hit in the driver`s side door by a tractor-trailer. The truck driver was not injured.
