Businessowners along Highway 70 in Hot Springs say a stoplight could have prevented Monday`s death of three teenagers.
"There needs to be a stoplight out there," says Sherry McRae, owner of Tri Lake Liquor Store in Hot Springs.
McRae witnessed four accidents since she opened up shop 18 months ago. She claims drivers even cut through her property to avoid passing through some of the neighboring intersections.
State police say more than 20,000 vehicles pass over the highway each day.
Plans are now in the works to wide a five-mile stretch of the highway.
