Updated: January 7, 2009
Governor Huckabee spoke on gay marriage on national television yesterday, saying he doesn`t think government should be in the bedrooms of American citizens. But the governor said the city of San Francisco is crossing the line in offering marriage licenses to gay couples. He said that amounts to government advocating same-sex marriage. Huckabee said he wants to make sure the traditional understanding of marriage is preserved -- that marriage is between a man and a woman.
