Little Rock airmen are taking to the skies in new C130 J planes after years of anticipation. The airmen are taking part in month-long training sessions to familiarize themselves with the aircraft. The planes will be used for missions ranging from med-evacing wounded soldiers to dropping off military equipment. Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville will be the first active base to receive a C130 J plane. Each plane costs about $60 million per plane. The Air Force ordered about 168 units.
