Pulaski County`s Prosecuting Attorney charged two daycare workers with manslaughter.
He says Gary Askew and Teresa Rodgers should have taken more precautions with three-year-old Tavian Johnson.
Police say the boy was left inside a hot van for eight hours. By the time daycare workers found him, Johnson was dead.
The incident took place on September 11th, 2003.
The manslaughter charge carries a possible 3 to 10 year prison sentence and a maximum ten thousand dollar fine.
