Bus Strike Ends

The union representing bus drivers and support staff in the Pulaski County Special School District voted to end its strike tonmight, despite not winning recognition from the school board. The union is instructing its drivers to return to work tomorrow, but the union`s president says her group now plans to file a lawsuit against the school board. The district`s superintendent had said he would fire the striking employees if they did not return to work by Friday. In the end, the union said it chose to end the strike because of the financial hardships its employees were suffering without work. Posted by Mike Hellgren
