Police Shoot Man During Late-Night Robbery

A man is in critical condition Sunday after being shot by a Little Rock police officer during a late-night robbery. Police say the suspect, whose identity is being withheld, drew his gun while fleeing Barrow Liquors on Kanis and Barrow Road. The officer opened fire, critically wounding the suspect. It`s not clear whether the suspect fired back. Police recovered a semi-automatic weapon and a bag full of money at the scene. The officer is on paid administrative leave, pending an investigation.
