Soldier "Cover Boy" Wins Arkansas` Respect

Governor Huckabee says Sergeant Marquette Whiteside of Pine Bluff has represented Arkansas "very honorably and respectfully." Whiteside, who met with the governor Tuesday at the state Capitol, was one of three soldiers who appeared on the cover of Time magazine last month. The trio represented the magazine`s 2003 Person of the Year -- the American soldier. Whiteside is to visit his old high school, Watson Chapel in Pine Bluff, on Wednesday.
