Two pizza places and two sub shopsmay be in competition, but they all have something in common now--they were robbed by the same man.
Police say the spree started at about 11:10 Sunday morning. The suspect hit Quizno`s Subs at 12800 Chenal. When he didn`t get any money there, he headed all the way out to the Subway at 9300 Stagecoach just thirty minutes later.
By 12:45 he had moved back north to the Little Caesar`s at 7509 Cantrell. One half hour later, the Papa John`s Pizza on R Street reported an armed robbery.
"They said he didn`t really point it at anybody, he just went through the office upstairs, files, looking for money. Bank bags, he opened them all, touched a lot of things," said Sylvester Carroll, manager at Little Caesar`s Pizza.
In some cases, the suspect locked employees in the freezer, then left through the back door.
Police say he could be responsible for 2 other robberies last week-- one at Wendy`s on Colonel Glenn and I-430, and the other at Domino`s on Chenal.
They say he usually wears one glove and covers the other hand with a newspaper sack or plastic bag. He uses that hand to hold the gun with, but witnesses say he usually kept it at his side.
Police say they`re looking for a white male, about 5`8"-5`9", with blue eyes.
He has a slender to medium build, and usually wears jeans or khakis andhe`s probably somewhere between 20 and 40 years old.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
