The parents of a ten-year-old girl found dead and chained to a bed after a house fire have pleaded not guilty in her death. A May 27th trial date was set for Lloyd Holt and Teresa Dick of Johnson County. They are charged with manslaughter and other counts in the November death of Molly Holt. Authorities investigating the fire said the found the girl`s body chained to a bed. The girl`s parents and their two other children were able to escape the fire. The girl`s grandfather said the girl had behavior problems, but prosecutors say they don`t know why the girl had been chained. Holt and Dick are being held at the Johnson County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond each. The pair appeared in court yesterday.
