Missouri Governor Loses Bet

With Arkansas` win over Missouri, it looks like Missouri Governor Bob Holden will be doing some community service. Holden and Arkansas Governor Huckabee placed a friendly wager over the outcome of the Independence Bowl game between the states` flagship universities. In the wager, the governor of the state whose school lost has to travel to the other state to volunteer for a day at a community service agency. Huckabee said if Arkansas wins Holden will spend part of the day working at the Watershed agency in Little Rock. Holden said he planned for Huckabee to work at the Saint Patrick Center in Saint Louis. But his plans were dashed when Arkansas defeated Missouri 27-14 in the Independence Bowl.
