Post-Holiday Shoppers Hit The Stores

Arkansans flocked to local stores Saturday looking for bargains as merchants hopes to recoup holiday losses. North Little Rock`s Target Store slashed prices on merchandise by as much as 50%. Friday was the busiest day of the year, officials said. Analysts attribute disappointing store sales to the heightened terror alert and bad winter weather.
