UAMS Doctors Study Ground Zero Health Effects

More than two years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, doctors at UAMS say they`re seeing the impact of the events and their aftermath on those who volunteered at Ground Zero. "The people we`re seeing in general have immediate respiratory effects," says UAMS Dr. Andrew Prychodko. UAMS is the only hospital in the region taking part in a national study to gauge the effects of working at Ground Zero.
