The Arkansas National Guard says it will
increase patrols at its instalations to guard against possible
terror attacks. Federal officials have elevated the terror risk
from yellow to orange, which means a high risk of terrorist attack.
Arkansas National Guard spokeswoman Captain Kristine Munn says
the public can expect to see increased patrols at the gates of
military installations. She says it may take longer to get on and
off the grounds.
Munn says she doesn`t expect Arkansas reservists and guardsmen
coming home for Christmas to be affected by the orange alert
status. Several busloads left out-of-state posts Saturday for
homecomings in Arkansas and several more are expected.
