By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
The Federal Emergency Management Agency says Arkansas will receive more than one million dollars to feed and shelter needy Arkansans in 2004. The money is part of the 153 (m) million authorized by Congress for the Emergency Food and Shelter Program. The program supports social service agencies in more than 25-hundred cities and counties across the country. The funds are used to supplement assistance programs for people with emergencies that aren`t related to disasters. Posted by Mike Hellgren
