We Had Snow!!

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Snow fell this morning across much of north Arkansas, and flurries have reached south into the state`s central region. A snow advisory is in effect through noon for a batch of north Arkansas counties, with about an inch expected to fall. Moisture left from rain that fell yesterday met with a cold front moving from the west to cause the snow. Meteorologist Emilie Nipper of the National Weather Service in North Little Rock says the weather will clear this afternoon. But, another system is on the way and could bring more snow to north Arkansas this weekend. Today, a wind advisory is in place for much of the state.
