Arkansas Native And Country Singer Glen Campbell Back In Court

Country singer Glen Campbell was back in a Phoenix courtroom today. The Delight, Arkansas-native was arraigned on a felony aggravated assault charge. He pleaded innocent. The 67-year-old entertainer is accused of kneeing a police officer after he was taken into custody following a November 24th minor hit-and-run accident near his home. Campbell also faces misdemeanor counts of extreme D-U-I, D-U-I and leaving the scene of an accident. Those charges are being handled by a different court. Campbell is free on his own recognizance on the assault charge, and out on two-thousand-dollars bond on the misdemeanor counts. Posted by Mike Hellgren
