High speed chase leads to burglary suspects

Russellville police began a high speed chase last night, after a driver made an illegal turn and wouldn`t pull over. The chase reached speeds of 130 miles an hour. After police were able to puncture the tires with spike strips, they say they found over 100 thousand dollars of merchandise in the vehichle. The items are being connected to over 30 burglaries in the last 6 weeks in the Russellville area. Police believe the suspect may also be responsible for burlglaries in the North Little Rock and Little Rock area. A badge of a North Little Rock retired police officer was found inside the car. The officer reported a break in in October. 4 people may face charges for the burglaries.
