A woman died in an eastern Pulaski County house fire early this morning, while a mother and her three children were able to escape the blaze. Firefighters and sheriff`s deputies answered a call about 3:15 a.m. of a fire at a one-story house near the Galloway exit off Interstate 40, close to the Lonoke County line. Officials say the two women and three children, ages five, two and eleven months, were in the home. One woman was able to get out with her children, but unable to get the other woman out of the house. Firefighters and deputies also tried to rescue the woman when they arrived but weren`t successful.
