hire their extra workers for the holiday shopping season.

holidays in hopes of further improvement in the economy.

ensure a good experience for their customers.
Bentonville-based Wal-Mart is hiring the same number of holiday
workers than usual -- fourteen-thousand. But they say they`re
hoping for a better season than last year.
Retail analysts say that many people currently working in retail
may take better jobs if they become available. That would leave
more vacancies in the field.

hiring on extra help before they see more positive signs of an
economic recovery.
