The Republican National Committee is expected to select Governor Mike Huckabee and Lieutenant Governor Win Rockefeller to head President Bush`s re-election effort in Arkansas. RNC chairman Marc Racicot is expected to come to Little Rock tomorrow for an announcement. Both Huckabee and Rockefeller appeared with Bush at a presidential fund-raiser November Tenth in Little Rock, where more than 500 people paid $2,000 a plate for a total of $500,000 for the president`s campaign. Bush made eight personal trips to Arkansas during the 2000 campaign. The last was an election-eve visit to the Republican stronghold in northwest Arkansas that the president said "put the wind at my back."
