The body of a man was discovered in an abandoned industrial area in Fort Smith. Police knew little about the partially clothed man whose body was found yesterday among mounds of dirt and broken concrete. The body was clad in only a red shirt. Blue jeans, underwear, socks and shoes were piled next to the body. There was no wallet and no identification with the man`s clothes. Police said the man appeared to have wounds on his face and head. The body was sent to the state Crime Laboratory for autopsy and identification. The man`s death was the city`s twelfth homicide this year.
