Updated: January 7, 2009
The president of the foundation building the Clinton Presidential Library is reaching out to tour bus operators by showing that the former president knows a thing or two about buses himself. Clinton Presidential Foundation chief Skip Rutherford is to attend a motorcoach convention with the Clinton-Gore campaign bus that covered 30-thousand miles and 20 states in 1992 and 1996. Rutherford says he wants tour bus operators to build trips around visits to the library in Little Rock. He also wants the buses to include other attractions in the city and the state. Rutherford is to speak Tuesday at the National Tour Association`s conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.
