Clark To Skip Debate In New Hampshire

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
Presidential hopeful Wesley Clark plans to skip a Democratic presidential debate in the state next month to attend a fundraiser in New York. Clark is the only major candidate who will skip the debate. The Clark campaign says it had already printed up invitations to the New York fund-raiser when it learned of the conflict. Clark is bypassing the Iowa Democratic caucus to focus on the primaries in New Hampshire and other states. A campaign official says Clark plan a "gigantic investment in paid media next week" in New Hampshire.
