A few hundred veterans and their families gathered for Veterans Day ceremonies at the Arkansas Capitol today. State Veterans Affairs Director Nick Bacon told the group that this day is difficult because American troops are again fighting oversees and that some of them won`t be coming home. He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his service in Vietnam. This morning, about fifty people gathered at Little Rock`s National Cemetery for a ceremony and Catholic Mass. 73-year-old Lupe Montalvo from Haskell wore a bright red Marine Corps jacket and said he`s happy to see the resurgence of patriotism following the September Eleventh terrorist attacks.
