Southwest airlines announced it will close its` Little Rock reservation center. The center currently employees over 700 people. The company says online reservations is what lead to the closing. 55 percent of all Southwest flights are now booked through the internet. Severance packages for employees were mailed today. It will include a lump sum payment, continued health care for 90 days and continued flight benefits. Employees will have until January 15th to decide if they want to take the severance package or relocate with the company to another location.
