Heifer International Breaks Ground On New Building In Little Rock

Former President Bill Clinton told an
audience today that he shares a common goal with Heifer Project
International -- building relationships with people across the
world.
Clinton addressed a crowd at the site near downtown Little Rock
where Heifer will build its new headquarters. Clinton`s
presidential library will be nearby.
The former president credited Heifer for knowing that the world
is an interdependent environment. Heifer gives animals to people in
developing areas and otherwise helps people become self-sufficient.
Clinton said Heifer`s efforts builds friends for the United States
and thus is a way to help combat terror.
