Updated: January 7, 2009
Pulaski County Humane Society investigators found a beagle on the railroad tracks in the Capitol View neighborhood, its paws severed by a train. Tonight, they`re asking for help to pay for the surgery to reconnect at least one of them. The operation cost $1200, but a local animal hospital reduced the price to $600. Doctors worked to save one of the paws Tuesday afternoon, and they should know tomorrow whether the operation was a success. Here`s how you can help. Send a donation to the humane society at the following address: HUMANE SOCIETY OF PULASKI COUNTY 14600 COLONEL GLENN ROAD LITTLE ROCK, AR 72210 You can also call the humane society at (501)227-6166 or visit them online at http://www.warmhearts.org/home.html {Posted by Mike Hellgren}
