State Fair Survivors Take on Singing Competition

By: Import User
Updated: January 7, 2009
For Ashley and Rachel Ferguson, this week marks the first time they`re taking part in a singing competition, but it`s nothing compared to the competition the twins have already won. The twins` mom, Shannon, explains. "Miracles, they`re miracles to begin with. They were two pounds when they were born and we`ve got pictures of them the size of an ink pen," she says. Eleven years the later, the twins are healthy straight-A students in Morrilton and ready to take on the next challenge. No matter what happens at the competition, Shannon Ferguson says she couldn`t be more proud with how far her twins have come. "It seemed so hopeless back then," she remembers. They`ve mastered it all. They`ve come a long way."
