Hospital Children Get Treat from Bikers

Updated: January 7, 2009
They may seem like a bunch of tough bikers, but when it comes to the kids, they`ll do anything to cheer them up. Saturday, the Ride for Life organization came roaring up to the Arkansas Children`s Hospital delivering a little Christmas in October. The bikers raised over $25,000 to donate toys to the kids. "The kids are sick. We visit chemo patients and pass out do-rags, but the reaction, you know they`re sick, it just makes a brighter part of their day, you can tell," said Bobby Cox, Ride for Life organization. Levi Strauss also showed their support to the hospital by picking up trash in the parking lots and making a donation Saturday morning.
