An Army reservist originally from Little Rock died on a plane fight leaving Afghanistan for Turkey. The
exact cause of his death is unknown.
Lieutenant Colonel Paul Kimbrough was 44 years old. His father, Major Kimbrough, said he was notified by Army officials of the death Friday.
Kimbrough was born and raised in Little Rock, attending Parkview High School and graduated the University of Central Arkansas and University of Arkansas Law School.
He lived in Washington D-C where he worked in the inspector general`s office of the Department of Transportation.
Kimbrough was involved in politics as an aide to former Congressman Ray Thornton. In 1996 he ran for the Democratic nomination for the state House of Representatives, but lost the
primary.
