Wrong Number Ends Up In Drug Arrest

A Morrilton police officer who recently
changed his mobile phone number wound up making a drug arrest for
his trouble.
Officer Sonny Stover received several calls on his new number
from a stranger who wanted to buy a "quarter bag."
Using an undercover officer, police set up the sale last
Wednesday. They arrested 25-year-old Victor Purifoy.
Purifoy is charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and
released on bond. A district court date in the case was set for
October sixth.
