Hundreds of immigrant workers are travelling around the country to brin attention what they say is their mistreatment in the workplace.
They stopped in Little Rock Saturday for a rally at Little Rock Central High School.
The "Freedom Riders" are supported by ACORN, the AFL-CIO, and several other unions.
They say immigrant workers deserve better working conditions with the same wages, benefits and insurance as other
American workers.
But many of them say they don`t have the proper documention to get a better job.
"All they`re asking is to speed up the immigration process, stop the red tape," said Alan Hughes, AFL-CIO.
"We want to make a clear pathway for immigration, so people can become legal immigrants, citizens, so their kids can go to school," said Dr. Cesar Compadre, a local activist.
